Graded Stallions must attend a Performance Test normally within 15 months of the date of grading (although this can be waived if the ZfdP are satisfied that there is sufficient competition results to be taken as an alternative).  The Performance Tests are currently run by the German Government and the UK is looking to establish a German compliant testing centre at one location in the UK initially.

15.   Judges:

Stallions: will be judged by a panel of 3 experienced and qualified stallion judges from Germany (see Introduction to Judges above). Stallions will be shown in hand and loose jumped for this grading but there is an option to present them under saddle as well (4 years plus only).   This will still require to be followed up by the appropriate Performance Test or Performance Record within 15 months.

Mares & Youngstock: will be judged by Herr Hans Brittze - Breeding Director of the ZfdP of Germany who is also a member of the ZfdP & Trakhenen Stallion Commission.
